It's a 'bookmarklet,' which is much lighter than an extension. No installation from an app store, no background resource usage. Click to use, and it's gone when you're done. Of course, this also means it can't perform complex background tasks like scheduled scraping, which extensions can.
It supports the vast majority of tables using standard `<table>` tags or ARIA-compliant `<div>` structures. For pages built with extremely complex or non-standard frontend frameworks, it might not work perfectly. We are continuously improving the algorithm.
Yes, the current bookmarklet will always be free. We believe good tools should be widely accessible. In the future, we might release a more powerful paid browser extension (e.g., with multi-page scraping, scheduled tasks), but the core functionality you see today will always be free.
